Woman, 71, loses life in 2-auto wreck in Delray Beach  

DELRAY BEACH, FL – Delray Beach police are investigating the details behind a two-vehicle collision on the 2000th block of Ocean Boulevard that killed a 71-year-old woman Wednesday. 

One driver was traveling north of Ocean Blvd, and the other south when they ran over the lady, CBS 12 reports. Police were notified of the situation after 8:20 p.m. and arrived at the scene a short time later. Both drivers remained at the crash site and cooperated with detectives. Police closed the area for a large portion of the day and later reopened all lanes.  

Officers have not released a formal statement regarding Wednesday’s wreck.
