Officials summoned to crash with damage to Sweetwater apartment 

SWEETWATER, FL – Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Sweetwater Police were dispatched to the scene of a crash that left an apartment building with serious damage Wednesday. 

For reasons unclear, the driver of their vehicle before plowing into an apartment building off 110th Avenue and West Flagler Street, WSVN said. 

The building, located on the first floor, was left with a wide hole. Despite the damage to the home, no one, including the apartment occupants and driver, was injured. 

First responders did not confirm if a building inspector was summoned to the scene to inspect the structural integrity of the apartment or provide an estimate regarding the cost of repairs.
