School bus hit by car driver attempting left turn at Miami junction

MIAMI, FL – A driver was trying to turn left near NW 12th Street and NW 127th Avenue and crashed into a school bus, sending the bus driver to a hospital Wednesday.

The impact of this wreck left at least one car occupant entrapped inside their vehicle, requiring extrication conducted by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, WSVN reports.

The car was severely totaled as a result of the crash as well.

While the bus driver was unharmed, EMS crews still wanted to take the motorist to a hospital as a precaution. The two children on board the bus were also spared from injuries but were not hospitalized.
