Male dirt bike rider dies after crash with 2 cars in Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, FL – A 23-year-old man operating a dirt bike crashed into the front bumper of a left-turning 2017 Volvo and then crashed into a 2014 Honda Civic, which resulted in his death.
This collision first happened Tuesday when the Volvo driver was pursuing the turn on NW 20th Street East toward NW 5th Avenue North and made contact with the dirt bike, WPTV reports. Once those vehicles made contact, the dirt bike rider was thrown from his bike, and then his bike struck the Honda.
Upon arrival, first responders hurried the dirt bike operator to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
The Boca Raton Police Department later identified the victim as Tyren White, a Boca Raton local, and said they discovered White was accompanied by two other dirt bike riders, who ended up fleeing the scene of the crash.
As for the drivers, they were unharmed. At this time, no criminal charges appear to be pending against them.
