Truck plows into Port St. Lucie home, sending driver to hospital

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – A driver of a gray truck had to go to a hospital after he crashed into a Port St. Lucie home garage in the 1500th block of SW Hunnicut Avenue Tuesday.

This collision took place before 7 a.m., CBS 12 reports. The St. Lucie County Fire District (SLCFD) did not state the contributing factors behind this wreck or disclosed the motorist’s current physical condition.

At this time, it appears that the Red Cross is also helping the home occupants find temporary shelter as building repairs are being done.
