Fire crews, FHP respond to auto fire in Palm Beach Gardens 

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – Florida Highway Patrol and fire rescue crews rushed to the scene of a vehicle fire that happened on Florida’s Turnpike North Wednesday. 

This crash happened at mile marker 111 east of Eastpointe Country Club. FHP was summoned to the scene at 7:47 p.m. and arrived at the collision site at 6:11 p.m. 

Immediately after arriving, authorities shut down all lanes to make room for the extinguishing of flames, scene clearance and investigation process. 

Authorities have not confirmed whether the fire was caused by mechanical issues or a crash, stated the kind of vehicle(s) involved, or if anyone was injured or required a trip to the hospital.
