Driver hospitalized after double truck crash with rollover in Palm Beach Gardens
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – A man from Columbia, Missouri, driving a Freightliner semi-truck rear-ended a Mitsubishi Fuso big rig, causing the Fuso to overturn and injuring its driver.
This collision happened around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday a mile down the road from the Donald Ross Road exit, WPTV reports.
The impact of the wreck also caused the Missouri man’s Freightliner to jackknife and hit the wall. Despite the crash, the driver, a 33-year-old man, was unharmed, while the
Fuso motorist, a 31-year-old man from Belle Glade, was hospitalized for minor wounds.
Upon arrival, FHP and crews shut down three southbound lanes for several hours and reopened all lanes around 10:30 a.m.
