Hit-and-run driver fatally strikes man in Opa-Locka 

MIAMI, FL – A man passed away when he was run over by the driver of a vehicle who fled the scene in the Opa-Locka area Friday. 

This collision happened after 2:45 a.m. in the vicinity of Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 132nd Street, NBC Miami reveals in a report. 

Miami-Dade Police declared the victim dead at the scene. 

Officers have not been able to provide a description of the suspect or confirm their vehicle at this time. 

The police department launched an investigation and has not released additional information.
