Toyota driver critically hurt in crash with BMW, Pompano Beach bank
POMPANO BEACH, FL – A driver of a Toyota was left in critical condition after crashing into a Truist bank upon colliding with a BMW Tuesday, NBC Miami said.
This collision, which occurred around 9:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of East Atlantic Boulevard, had either entrapped or pinned the Toyota driver inside his car, requiring fire crews to extricate him. After the extrication occurred, an ambulance transported the man to Broward Health North.
A BMW passenger, a child, was also hospitalized, but for minor wounds.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation and has not released other details at this time.
