FHP dispatched to hit-and-run near Fort Lauderdale Exec Airport

 FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A Florida Highway Patrol was summoned to a hit-and-run crash Wednesday reported on I-95 South adjacent to the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. 

Troopers were dispatched to the scene, south of Cypress Park, around 7:37 a.m. and arrived at the scene after 8 a.m.

FHP has not had to issue lane closures. 

At this time, troopers have not released a description of the suspect or their vehicle, indicated whether anyone was injured or hospitalized, or mentioned whether anyone would face citations or charges.
