2-auto crash in Port St. Lucie sends pregnant woman to hospital

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – A pregnant woman was sent to a local hospital following a collision between a black Kia and a Toyota Corolla on SW Gatlin Boulevard Wednesday.

After this crash, crews had to block off the Gatlin Boulevard exit in order to accommodate the scene clearance process, CBS 12 said. They have lifted this closure since.

Florida Highway Patrol did not specify which vehicle the woman came from but confirmed she did not sustain life-threatening wounds.

The events leading up to Wednesday’s collision have not been confirmed at this time.
