Major accident snarls northbound traffic on Palmetto Expressway

HIALEAH, FL – A serious accident caused a traffic jam in the northbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway past Okeechobee Road this morning, NBC6 reports.

At least two cars collided in the expressway’s northbound lanes, snarling early rush hour traffic. Express lanes reopened by 7 a.m.

While emergency crews quickly arrived at the scene, we are not sure at this time whether anyone was injured. We will provide further updates as they become available.
