Woman killed in collision with cement truck on Florida’s Turnpike

MIAMI, FL – A woman was killed early yesterday morning when her vehicle rear-ended a cement truck on Florida’s Turnpike, NBC6 reports.

The woman was driving a Hyundai sedan north on the highway when she struck the cement truck near NW 74th Street a little after 4 a.m.

Emergency responders rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she subsequently died. No other injuries have been reported at this time.

The collision blocked three lanes of traffic for an unspecified amount of time.
