Fiery crash caused when bus driver rear-ends truck in Port St. Lucie
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – A bus driver struck the back of a parked stationary landscape company truck, leading both vehicles to catch on fire Tuesday.
This collision happened on the 2500th block of Southeast Floresta Drive, according to WPTV. After the vehicles caught fire, the flames then spread to the wooden utility pole, light pole, and a boat.
Despite the nature of the crash, the truck driver and bus driver (who is affiliated with the Council on Aging) were spared from injuries. No bus occupants were on the bus.
