UPDATE: Passenger dies following collision in Boynton Beach that killed drivers

BOYNTON BEACH, FL — A third person has died as a result of a two-vehicle crash Friday night, March 1, in Boynton Beach that claimed the lives of both drivers, reports WPBF.

Boynton Beach Police Department officials said the fatal accident unfolded at the intersection of Hypoluxo Road and Paxford Lane at around 9:15 p.m.

First responders pronounced both drivers deceased at the scene, and at least two people were rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.

On Tuesday, the BBPD announced that one of the critically injured patients had succumbed to his injuries. He was since been identified as 35-year-old Adam Uwanawich.

No information about the other patient has been made available.

An investigation remains ongoing.
