Woman, teen and child hospitalized after Palm Beach Co. semi-car crash
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL – A collision between a car and a tractor-trailer injured a 41-year-old woman, one teenager, and one child Friday.
This crash happened after 11 p.m. on Southern Avenue near Connors Highway, according to WPTV. The events of this collision unfolded when the 41-year-old woman from Lehigh Acres, driving a 2021 Toyota Corolla, turned east on Southern Avenue and was in the direct path of a 1997 Freightliner, leading the two vehicles to collide.
The woman was transported via an ambulance to a hospital for minor wounds. The two minors with her, a 10-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, were airlifted via a TraumaHawk helicopter to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment of serious wounds.
The truck driver was unharmed.
