Woman dies 3 days after auto-pedestrian crash near West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 53-year-old woman died three days after she was struck by an unmarked newspaper delivery car while crossing a road on Wednesday.
According to WPTV, this collision occurred before 8:30 a.m. on the 193rd block of Lake Carol Drive, adjacent to the iThink Financial Amphitheatre.
The pedestrian, Genevieve Marie Reed, a Delray Beach resident, sustained a serious head injury when the driver of a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder, a 48-year-old man, hit her.
No pending charges were revealed. Reed was rushed to a hospital and declined any medical treatment, leading her to die from her wounds.
