Man, 86, fatally struck by driver along Home Depot in Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, FL – An 86-year-old man died after getting struck by a 2008 Hyundai Azera in a Home Depot parking lot on Glades Road Sunday.
CBS 12 said this crash happened around 5:45 p.m.
A preliminary report indicated that the 86-year-old man – Hermann Spiegel – was waiting to be picked up. A woman, the driver of a 2008 Hyundai Azera, came to pick up Spiegel. He went in front of the vehicle, and then for reasons unclear, she put the car in drive and struck him.
Medics rushed Spiegel to Delray Medical Center, where he later suffered fatal injuries.
