Man runs red light, dies after West Palm Beach crash with big rig
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A motorcyclist, a 39-year-old man, was killed after he ran a red light and crashed into a semi-truck turning onto Okeechobee Boulevard Sunday.
According to CBS 12, this collision happened before 4:30 a.m. when the 2015 Volo semi-truck, which had a green light, came into Okeechobee from Florida’s Turnpike. The motorcyclist, 39-year-old Wayne Doucet, had hit Volo at the fuel tank.
The driver of the Volvo appears to be unharmed. Doucet was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead after 5 a.m.
