Male pedestrian killed in West Palm Beach hit-and-run crash
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 54-year-old man was fatally struck by a speeding driver at the intersection of eastbound Forest Hill Boulevard and northbound Military Trail who failed to render aid and fled the scene before 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to WPTV, the pedestrian, later identified as 54-year-old Ramon Alonso-Castellon, was killed at the scene. The hit-and-run suspect, who was found, was identified as 26-year-old Juan Luis Valladares.
Valladres told officials that the vehicle he drove – the 2023 Dodge Charger – was stolen. He and the passenger with him appear to have been harmed. As of now, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has not revealed pending charges.
