Boy, 16, left dead after Miami Shores fiery crash

MIAMI SHORES, FL – A 16-year-old boy’s life was claimed in a fiery single-vehicle collision near Brockway Memorial Library Thursday. 

The crash happened after 11 a.m. at the intersection of North Miami Avenue and Northeast 99th Street, NBC Miami reported. Miami-Dade Police said that based upon a preliminary investigation, the driver crashed his car into a tree. As a result, his vehicle caught fire, and the teenage boy succumbed to fatal injuries.
