Woman manages to avoid collision with train in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A woman escaped from injuries after her car crashed into the railroad tracks around 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The collision happened amid rain, according to WPTV.
Due to low visibility, the woman mistook the rail tracks for a road. A train was coming towards her, however, she was able to avoid getting hit by the train.
Police alerted the conductor beforehand.
