Police Officer, K-9 injured in Turnpike crash in Miami
MIAMI, FL – A police officer and their K-9 were injured in a vehicle crash on the turnpike at Caribbean Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.
According to Total Traffic Miami, the officer was taken to a local hospital, and the turnpike closed.

The cause of the crash is unclear.
Drivers can avoid traffic delays by taking the exit to South Dixie Highway instead.
