5-auto wreck in Pembroke Pines sends 2 to hospital, claims one life 

PEMBROKE PINES, FL – Two people were taken to a hospital, and one person lost their life following a five-vehicle wreck near the West Pines Soccer Park Thursday. 

This collision happened at Pines Boulevard and US Highway 27, according to CBS News. One other person was injured but was not taken to a hospital. 

The Pembroke Pines Police Department closed the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 27 and Pines Boulevard West so that crews could clean up the scene and so officers could render aid to the occupants and for their investigation. 

Police have not released other information at this time.
