4 hurt in Delray Beach rollover crashes
DELRAY BEACH, FL – Four people were sent to Delray Medical Center for their injuries after two separate rollover collisions in Delray Beach Monday afternoon.
WFLX said the first crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at the SE 3rd St and S Swinton Ave junction when a Palm Beach County PalmTran bus and an Amazon commercial van collided. The force of this collision prompted the van to overturn on its side, injuring the Amazon driver in the process. The motorist was hospitalized for unspecified injuries.
Two bus passengers were also hurt.
The next collision happened an hour later around 3:30 p.m. in a parking lot at 600 North Congress Avenue. As seen in the source’s photo, the car overturned on its side. Officials said they had to clamp a hose to prevent a fuel leak. The male driver, the sole occupant, sustained unknown injuries.
