3 hospitalized after multi-auto wreck in Palm Beach Gardens
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – Three people were transported to a hospital following a four-vehicle crash that happened on Florida’s Turnpike around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Upon arrival, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue extricated one person trapped inside their vehicle, CBS 12 reports. Crews also had to shut down the area between the Bee Line Highway and Northlake Boulevard for the scene clearance process. All lanes reopened before 8:15 a.m.
The specifics behind the collision remain unclear. Florida Highway Patrol said one patrol car belonging to their own was involved in a crash but did not confirm if that vehicle was involved in this specific wreck or in a different one.
