2 people in hospital after vehicle crashes into canal in Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH, FL – Two people were hospitalized after their vehicle crashed into a canal in Pompano Beach early this morning, according to information from NBC Miami.

The crash happened near SW 27th Avenue and W Atlantic Boulevard at around 1:28 a.m., when a single vehicle crashed into a canal.

The two occupants of the vehicle were able to escape the wreckage before being taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately released.
