2 hospitalized after West Palm Beach crash with extrication

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Two people were trapped inside their SUV, extricated, and then taken to a hospital after their vehicle collided with a semi-truck on Southern Boulevard Friday.

CBS 12 said this crash happened on the westbound lanes. The impact of this collision led the front side of the SUV passenger side to crumple and bend, while the semi had some damage on its trailer.

The two people were sent to a trauma center, one getting there via a medical helicopter. A third occupant was involved in the collision but declined to be taken to a hospital.
