MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – A driver of a blue Dodge was seriously injured after he crashed his car into a train signal in the Opa-locka and Westview area Monday.

WSVN said this wreck occurred on Northwest 32nd Avenue near Northwest 125th Street. The driver of the blue Dodge traveled at a high rate amid rainy weather prior to colliding with the train signal.

Officials said the force of this collision caused the beam to come down and the two wheels to rise from the ground, and airbags to come out.

The man was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital. As of now, officials have not indicated his current condition.

First responders have not revealed other details. More information will be posted once it becomes available.
