1 seriously hurt, 1 killed in boat crash near Port Miami 

MIAMI, FL – One man was hospitalized and another man was left dead after a collision between a Fisher Island Ferry and a 32-foot boat near Port Miami Sunday. 

According to NBC Miami, the collision occurred around 3:30 a.m. The men who were thrown in the water were identified as 27-year-old Cristian Gaston Fernandez, of Cutler Bay and 29-year-old Angel Dominguez, of Hialeah. 

Both men were on the 32-foot boat and were both rescued. Dominguez was sent to a hospital for serious injuries, while Fernandez was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Ferry captain and passengers were unharmed. 

It is not immediately clear what prompted this collision.
