1 life claimed in fiery multi-auto crash in Little Haiti
MIAMI, FL – A driver lost control of their car, leading them to hit two other vehicles, which ended with one catching fire and claiming one life Monday in the Little Haiti area.
This collision happened before 3:15 p.m. at the junction of Northwest 2nd Place and Northwest 62nd Street according to Local 10. The car had also collided with several other objects and went over a curb. Pedestrians were surrounding the wreck, but escaped injuries.
An individual from one of the struck automobiles sustained minor wounds, while another was either entrapped or pinned inside a vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews.
After the extrication was complete, medics rushed the freed person to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where they were listed in critical condition.
