1 killed in wreck in Delray Beach
DELRAY BEACH, FL – According to CBS12 News, one person was killed in an accident in Delray Beach on Wednesday.
The crash was reported shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Lake Ida Road. Authorities say 40-year-old Virgilita Jackson was driving a 2009 Hyundai Elantra east on Lake Ida when the inclement weather conditions caused her to lose control of the vehicle. The Hyundai spun out into the westbound lanes and crashed into a 2018 Volvo XC60.
Jackson was killed in the accident and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the Volvo sustained minor injuries in the collision.
