Toddler rescued in Cocoa boat accident

After being trapped under a boat for an hour in the Indian River in Florida last month, a toddler was rescued and safely returned to her parents.

According to reports, Tammy Brossard and her family were ejected from the boat they were riding after it struck power lines. Tammy’s 1-year-old daughter Kennedy went missing after the incident. Though they could hear Kennedy cry, they did not know where she was. Tammy immediately notified 911 after she found her phone. Responding personnel took 45 minutes in the water before they rescued the toddler wearing a life vest, who was stuck in the air packet inside the boat that flipped.
