Alexis George, 32, Killed and Jordan Wilson, 33, Injured In Car Wreck In West Palm Beach
A West Palm Beach woman identified as Alexis George, 32, was killed and a man identified as Jordan Wilson, 33, was injured after a wreck that happened near the intersection of Okeechobee Boulevard and Vista Parkway in suburban West Palm Beach, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.
Alexis George died and Jordan Wilson was injured when the Mitsubishi Wilson was driving went over the shoulder and into a street sign pole, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol. Wilson was driving his car west on Okeechobee Boulevard when the crash occurred.
Firefighters had to use extraction tools to reach the victims, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Alexis George died as a result of her injuries, while Wilson was taken to a local hospital, according to the Florida Highway Patrol officials.
Deputies said they are looking into the possibility of alcohol or drugs contributing to the cause of the crash.
