9 Injured in Riviera Beach School Bus Accident
At least nine people, including one small child and multiple teens, sustained injuries in a recent school bus accident in Riviera Beach, an article from wpbf.com reported on September 22.
Reports said the collision between a school bus and another vehicle took place at the intersection of Australian Avenue and Blue Heron Boulevard. The bus, containing 55 students going to Inlet Grove High School, reportedly struck a stalled sedan containing an adult and a 4-year-old child. Seven of the students inside the bus and the two occupants of the sedan were hospitalized due to minor injuries. Though district officials confirmed that bus driver, Michel Zamor, was not intoxicated during the crash, they will conduct a follow-up review of the incident. A reckless driving citation was later issued to Zamor.
